IN THE INTEREST OF FULL DISCLOSURE

Sometimes the press get it right. Sometimes they don't.

Riverside Motorsports Park firmly supports the First Amendment and the freedom of the press. However, our company also believes that the press must strive for balanced, accurate reporting; not reporting that is biased or the publication of mis-information that creates news rather than reports it. It is our company's opinion, and that of Company counsel and others, that one newspaper local to Merced, Calif., the Merced Sun-Star (which
endorsed the RMP project on 18 November 2006) has, for some reason, taken the latter approach in its coverage of our project and company. Articles published there have prompted us to develop a way to correct information with factual information when necessary. This "Full Disclosure" section on our Website is our response.

Postings are placed here on an as-needed basis, and they correct published errors and mis-information when these are not otherwise corrected by the actual source reporting them. Click the dates below to read our statements made in the interest of full disclosure.
